Top five in Majorca and top for Girona!

by

It continues its impressive and at the same time unbeaten run in this year’s Primera Division Gironaas evidenced by its prevalence with the broad 5-3 on her Majorcafor the 6th matchday of this year’s championship.

The guests made the… mistake of taking the lead from the 4th minute of the match, with Muriki’s well-timed penalty, to be followed by the “tsunami” from the Catalan side…

It is typical that, by the end of the first half, the score was… 4-1, with Girona even having four different scorers!

Another goal by the home team followed in the replay, but they relaxed in the final minutes and allowed Mallorca to “collect” the score, for the final 5-3.

It is worth noting that with this “three points”, Girona climbed to first place in the standings, with more matches than the second Real Madrid, having five wins and a draw now!

Dobbik and Savio each had a goal and an assist, while Abdon scored two goals for the Balearic Islands team, but when it was… too late.
