Eintracht Frankfurt and Freiburg were goalless and “spoiled”

by

Three days after the “double” in “G. Karaiskakis” on him Olympiacos (2-3) in the premiere of the Europa League, the Freiburg returned to the gales on German soil.

In particular, Christian Streich’s team stayed in the away “white” tie against the Eintracht Frankfurt for the 5th turn of the Bundesliga, as a result of which it remains for third consecutive match away from the three pointsafter defeats by Dortmund (2-4) and Stuttgart (5-0).

The hosts were better for most of the match, with the Freiburg keeper making some good saves to keep his side clean. However, in the delays of the match, the guests found the way to the net with Adamou, but the goal was canceled after the intervention of the VAR for offside.

Somehow, both teams stayed low in the German league table, with Eintracht in fact, who is his next opponent PAOK for the second matchday of the Conference League (05/10), to stay for fourth straight match in the draw!

In the other match that took place earlier, Bayer Leverkusen had an easy task against Heidenheim, which they “kissed” 4-1 at “BayArena”! Victor Boniface was the main protagonist for the “aspirins”, with the Nigerian forward scoring two goals (9′, 74′) and Homfan (63′) and Adli (83′) also writing their names on the scoreboard scorer. All the visitors could do was temporarily equalize in the 58th minute.

With this three points, Bayer Leverkusen got to the top of the scoreboard as well 13 points to Bayern Munichwith the two teams going hand in hand since the start of the season!
