Alkmaar beat Legia Warsaw 1-0 yesterday, in its first win for Group 5 of the Europa Conference League. This match was marred by incidents after the end, which started with the behavior of the Dutch authorities and ended with arrest of two football players, but also the sexual abuse of the president of the Polish team!
The Legia management was forced to call even the Polish ambassador, as well as the counterparts from the two players’ home countries, since the Dutch police did not want to release them. Legia will testify today protest to UEFA about the conduct of the Dutch authoritieswhile the issue acquired a greater political dimension after the intervention of the Prime Minister of Poland.
THE Mateusz Morawiewski with a message on social media he revealed that he ordered all diplomatic actions to be taken to clarify what exactly happened yesterday in the Netherlands: “All diplomatic actions will be urgently taken to clarify these unacceptable events in the Netherlands.
