After the start of the Euroleague, it’s time for its jumbo ball Basketball League!
The renewed Greek championship starts on Saturday (7/10) with three very interesting matches on the program of the first day.
The beginning will take place in Rhodes and in the closed Kallithea, where the Colossus will host the Pigeon bwin at 17:00 (ERT Sports 1). The Rhodesians are making a new start despite last year’s positive season with many transfers and the Kuro Segura now on the bench in place of Ilias Papatheodorou. The team of Vassilis Spanoulis, on the other hand, showed an impressive face in the preparation and is the clear favorite of the match.
The second match of the day will take place in Ano Liosia, between AEK and Lavrio (17:15, ERT3). The Union impressed in the summer with their transfers, however they still lack in chemistry and readiness, elements which they will try to develop against their team Costa Mexawho will do his best against a superior opponent.
The “menu” of the day ends with a terrible match at 20:00 (ERT3), when the PAOK will host him Prometheus of Patras in Pylaia. This is a very interesting match, between two teams that enter the season with expectations, having made some excellent moves.
