“During my public statement, to everyone, in the summer, regarding the significant delays in the stadium works, we, based on the only official document of Serres town planning, which we had in our hands for the stadium, from November 2022, proceeded, together with the owner of the stadium, the municipal authority, in all the necessary actions, in order for the citizens of Serres and the fans of Panserraikos, to enjoy a safe and functional stadium, despite the wear and tear of the years.
In April, a private company was commissioned by the municipal authority to carry out a static study, the results of which we only learned about yesterday, and they report on the static deficiency of the eastern stand and the roof, where the officials’ platform is located. A study, which existed since August, in the hands of the competent services and yesterday (18/10), the conclusion came from the town planning of Serres.
Based on the new data and the temporary closure of the stadium, we are at the disposal of all parties, to do what is necessary, so that the stadium is safe again, as soon as possible.
We knew about the political games against Panseraikos, a few days before the elections, as we understand, that they continue even after the elections. Whoever played with us, will find us opposite, because our own party is only Panserraikos!
