In Budapest for the World Karate team

The national Karate team is in Budapest, in order to take part in the 26th World Championship Men, Women. The event will be held in the Hungarian capital and in the indoor “Pap Laszlo” from October 24 to 29.

Eight athletes and six athletes make up the team, which will participate in all individual Kumite and Kata categories, as well as the men’s and women’s team Kumite.

They are joined by the national coach, Spyros Margaritopoulos and the coaches Dimitris Triantafyllis, Mariza Soumbasaki who are voluntarily in Budapest as technical advisors. Stavros Stavrianidis is the leader of the delegation which is also accompanied by the sports director of ELOK, Kostas Papadopoulos, Panagiotis Gorezis who will represent the Greek refereeing and the volunteer physiotherapist, Ilias Giannaklis.
