Sharp Bacon: “In Europe they don’t tell the whole story, only what they want the world to hear”

by

There is no doubt that the Dwayne Bacon he is one of the most talented players who have passed through the European courts in recent years.

Super talented one-on-one with the ability to be a consistent source of scoring, the former guard/forward of Monaco and Panathinaikou he impressed with his skills, but not with his behavior off the pitch, since in general he became known for various disciplinary offences, which brought about his final removal from the “greens”.

Nevertheless, the American himself feels that he has been wronged. He also expressed this belief through a short text on Instagram, where he emphasized that in Europe they are not telling the whole truth about what happened.

His post in detail:

“The last few years in the NBA I was in Orlando and I had double-digit averages. We traded the whole team after Kel got injured. My first year in the EuroLeague we made the playoffs with Monaco, the team’s first season in the league and I averaged 15 points. With Panathinaikos I had almost 17 points, when in the Euroleague the majority is around 17.

In the NBA preseason this year I had 19 points. They open their mouths, but wherever I go in my career, I perform, every year I get better. The videos are there and in these four years I have not lost a single match. I’ve been getting bad comments all this time, but come on, get serious. While in the NBA I didn’t have a public problem, in the Euroleague I did. But in Europe they never tell the whole story, only what they feel people need to hear, because they don’t want someone else to take you when you’re as prolific as I am. The crazy thing is they want me today so everything I say shows everything about how I work, how I play, how I really am, I never said I was perfect but I always kept my image clean and worked for whatever came my way.”
