by

Thanasis Staikos expressed the belief that his team will show up ready for the match ahead of them, the one against Aris. The coach of PAS Ioannina admitted that the psychological state of the team is not good after the bad results but stressed that they are working hard to change this.

What the Greek coach said in detail:

What is the competitive and psychological state of his team ahead of the match against Aris:

“When you come from four straight defeats for the league and one for the Cup, the continuous negative results are enough. Of course, our psychological state is not the best possible, but we are professionals, we work every day and I believe that we will show up ready for the match with Aris”.

If he believes that his players are determined to claim the positive result in Thessaloniki:

“The truth is that we need a positive result to be able to recover psychologically and see the future more optimistically. Our footballers are ready and want the positive results, just like us in the technical staff. I believe they will do their best for a positive result in Kleanthis Vikelidis”.

Regarding what PAS Ioannina must do against Aris in order to claim a point or points in “Kleanthis Vikelidis”:

“All teams have strengths and weaknesses, just like Ares. We must be focused on the plan we decide to follow. Also, we must be decisive in personal duels, both when we do not have the ball and in phases of our own possession. And so we hope that we will have a positive result in order to change the negative climate that has been formed lately”.
