Tyson Fury’s controversial victory over Francis Enganou in Saudi Arabia

by

He almost missed it Francis Enganou in his professional boxing debut to take the world heavyweight championship belt from Tyson Fury.

The ‘Gypsy King’ eventually managed to prevail on points in the ten-round bout, with the judges however disagreeing on the outcome of the bout, with two scoring Fury (95-94, 96-93) and one scoring Enganou. In fact, the 37-year-old who comes from the UFC knocked his opponent down in the third round, but he quickly got up and avoided the… knockout.

Fury extended it his unbeaten streak of 35 matches having during this time 34 wins and one draw. It is now said that his next opponent will be Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the WBA, WBO and IBF titles. There is already a deal for the match, it is possible that it can be held on December 23rd, but there is nothing definitive yet.

Among the 26,000 spectators of the match was Cristiano Ronaldo, but also two football legends, the Brazilian Ronaldo and the Portuguese Figo.
