He spends dramatic hours Luis Dias and the Liverpool footballer’s family, following yesterday’s news that his parents were kidnapped in his home country of Colombia.

It may be that a few hours later, the kidnappers released the Colombian striker’s mother, Silenis Maroulanda, who is now safe with her family, however, his father is still missing.

Let’s remember that the parents of the 26-year-old ace of the “reds” were kidnapped when unknown men stopped their vehicle on motorcycles and at gunpoint they were taken with them to the city of Barrancas. The response of the state government was immediate, as, in addition to the police, the country’s special forces were also mobilized, even giving a brave reward to anyone with information.

However, according to local reports, things have become significantly more complicated, since there are rumors that the kidnappers have taken Dias’ father out of the border, with a possible destination of Venezuela.

A Colombian official said: “There is information that he could be in Venezuela. And if he crosses the border and is in Venezuela, we must talk to President Gustavo Petros, who is a friend of these authorities, to help us with the release.”
