Yannis Katrouzanakis will continue his career in Malta. The Glyfada coach submitted his resignation from the “helm” of ANOG, after agreeing to take over the technical leadership of the club of the island country and the team from the southern suburbs to thank him for his offer.
Katrouzanakis’ replacement on the bench will be his former assistant, Giorgos Papadopoulos.

“The Athletic Nautical Club of Glyfada announces the departure of the coach of our club’s men’s team, Yiannis Katrouzanakis. Our club, faithful to the timeless promotion of athletes and coaches, could not stand in the way of the development of Giannis’ professional career.
The ANOG family says goodbye to a friend of the club, a model of coach and character and wishes him the best in the new step of his coaching career.
We thank him for everything he has given us. At the same time, we are pleased to announce the hiring as the first coach of our team of Giorgos Papadopoulos, previously assistant to Giannis, who stood out as an athlete within our association.
