About his victory over Alexander Zverev and qualification to the quarterfinals of the Paris Masters, he spoke Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The Greek champion emphasized that he is excited to be in very good condition the last time, while he added that he is happy about the fact that he will play in front of a Greek at ATP Finals of Turin, in which he officially ensured his participation.

His statements in detail:

“It’s great, what a relief to finally qualify, which I’ve worked hard for all season. It is a moment of relief that I managed to spend in one of my most favorite events and I will have the opportunity to play in front of my Italian fans, but also in front of Greeks. I hope to get past the round robin and go further, but I’m excited to play good tennis. I’m humbled and I really want to keep going strong and show my potential at Bercy.”

About the game with Zverev: “My serve was okay, I feel there is room for it to be more consistent. I still managed to be in control even with the second serve, I had a good first shot when I served the second where I wanted. I’ve been coming back well, I’m getting to the stability I’m looking for in returns. I try to read the game and get creative when I can.”

For his returns: “I spend a lot of hours on the court and one of the things I work on is returns. It is important to keep working, there are many things I can work on. I always aim for small improvements that can give my game a boost in the coming months and I hope this continues in the years to come.”
