Panathinaikos renewed with Kyriopoulos and Volakis until 2026

Two moves aimed at the future but also “touching” on the present, through his second team, announced today (06/11) Panathinaikos.

As, the “clover” proceeded with the double renewal of its cooperation both with George Kyriopoulos as well as with Kostas Volakiwith the parties involved signing contracts up to 2026.

The two specific footballers are competing this season with Panathinaikos B, while Kyriopoulos has already prepared with the first team, last winter in Cyprus, and also made his debut in a Cup match.

“PAE Panathinaikos announces the renewal of Giorgos Kyriopoulos’ contract. The 19-year-old Greek midfielder signed a new contract, with which he remains with the team until June 2026, currently strengthening Panathinaikos II.

George, who signed his first professional contract in October 2021, joined the club’s academies in 2018 and was a member of the U19 side that won the championship in 2022. On 15 December 2022, he made his first team debut, playing in the match Cup against Volos.

“I want to thank the management of Panathinaikos for the support and trust they showed me. Also, thank you to the coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to play in the first team and now in the second team. I want to repay this trust, show that I deserve it and achieve success with Panathinaikos”, said Giorgos Kyriopoulos after signing his contract.

Kostas, who signed his first professional contract in October 2021, has been in the club’s academy for almost a decade and was a member of the K19 team that won the championship in 2022.

“I am very happy to continue in the team that I have loved since I was a child and have been there for 10 years already. I want to thank the team for the support they give me. I will give my best to justify those who believe in me” declared Kostas Volakis after signing the contract”.
