In its own way, Olympiacos wanted to say goodbye to Nikos Youtsos. The legendary football player who wrote his own history with the team passed away at the age of 81 spreading sadness.

Born in Kastoria, raised in Hungary, he wore the red and white for ten years and was loved like few others. From the 1964-’65 season to the summer of 1974, he wowed people in the stands with his personal actions.

“Come in Yucho!” he was urged on by thousands of people in the packed “G. Karaiskakis”, because of his advances towards the opposing homes. A motto, a hymn that went down in history!

With the jersey of Thrylos, he played in 330 games, scored 128 goals and was glorified. An authentic balladeer, who won four championships and four cups with Olympiacos.
