For her game West Ham with Olympiakos (9/11, 22:00) he spoke at the press conference Said Benrahma.

The midfielder of the “hammers” stood at bad night where the team was in the previous match against the “red and whites”, while he also spoke about his team’s fans, saying that he gives them extra energy, characterizing them as the 12th player.

His statements in detail:

“In the previous game, we didn’t play the way we should have. We didn’t play the game we usually can play and we can do better. We have to forget about that match and concentrate on this one. We know that sometimes these games are tough and our image in the previous match was not good. But we have to have faith in our abilities and be optimistic about the home match.

I think we are ready for Thursday. We have to improve what we did wrong in the previous match. We have to keep doing what we have done in Europe for the last two or three years to come back stronger. We have to win this game. I believe we can do it.

We just have to bring positive energy and I think we will have it, since we are playing in our stadium in front of our fans. We have to look at the game in Greece and say that it wasn’t our best and now we can get back on track.”

For fans:

“Our fans are definitely our 12th player. When you come to the stadium, you see how big it is and how passionate our fans are. For the guests it is something they have to accept. I can remember the match against Sevilla for the round of 16. The noise that day was terrible. The same has been the case in all the European games we have played.

When these fans give us support and positive energy, it motivates us to be better and also gives us more energy. They help us, giving us the strength we need.”
