Brazdeikis: “I feel better and better”

by

THE Ignas Brazdeikis spoke to the camera of the Novasports channels regarding the game against Baskonia, his adaptation, but also the strong rumor that he wants Olympic to take a player.

The Lithuanian forward spoke in detail about:

– the match against Baskonia: “We know that Baskonia will enter the court with intensity, they will play hard for their new coach and also for themselves. They play aggressive defense, we have to be mentally prepared and ready to play our best game.”

– his adaptation to the “want” of coach Bartzokas: “I feel better, I had some injuries. I’m learning our offense, what we want to do as a team and looking for ways to help the team win games. I feel good and ready to play at a high level.”

– the shooters of Baskonia: “We have to force them to take difficult shots, especially at the beginning of the match. We cannot leave them anything free and easy. Because if they find a rhythm it is very difficult to stop them. I think the key is to get them out of rhythm early on.”

– the transition of Baskonia and for the style of basketball it advocates: “We spoke with the coach and we must not allow the transition game. They play at high levels of intensity and tempo, so for us the most important thing is to get good options in attack, to return to defense correctly and quickly. We are training at a very high intensity and we are starting to learn each other.”

-whether the possible acquisition of a player is being discussed in the Olympiakos locker room: “For us players, our job is to do everything to help the team win. Whoever we get we’ll be very excited, but our focus is on helping this team win games.”
