England’s football family bid farewell to Sir Bobby Charlton

On October 21 and at the age of 86, Mr Sir Bobby Charlton breathed his last and on Monday afternoon (13/11) the memorial service was scheduled to take place in his cathedral Manchester.

A crowd of people gathered to say the last “farewell” to a legend of sport and especially English football, while the coffin also passed by “Old Trafford”.



The world champion in 1966 received all the appropriate honors and was attended by Sir Alex Fergusonas well as David Gill, veteran players Paul Scholes, Brian RobsonSteve Bruce, Peter Schmeichel, Andy Cole and Alex Stepney, as well as current Red Devils players with Maguire, Shaw, Evans and Chiton.



In fact, at Sir Bobby Charlton’s “farewell” there were Alexander Ceferin (UEFA president), Theodoros Theodoridis (UEFA general secretary), while Prince Williams was present in his capacity as the president of the English Football Association, as well as the coach of the “three lions”, Gareth Southgate.
