A “storm” in the second half Real Madrid swept 99-75 at the “Vizink Center” the trailing Alba Berlin for the tenth matchday of the Euroleague and maintained the absolute 9-0, having one match less and leaving the “albatross” at 1-9 .
The European champions finished the first half with +11, but in the second the consecutive series and the many three-pointers of the “merenches” brought +20 and the final +24.
The protagonist of Madrid was Hezonia with 26 points, supported by Tavares, Moussa with 11 points. For the former German champions, Prosida stood out with 14 and Tiemann with 12 points.
The match
The German’s three-pointers kept them in the game early in the contest, but a 7-0 run by Real made it 13-6 with plenty of stars in that stretch. The Italians kept their hopes alive with the “albatross” runs, but Campazzo and Tavares led an 11-0 run that brought double scores (26-13) and 27-17 at the end of the first period.

Consecutive three-pointers from Madrid brought +14 with Kozer as the protagonist in this period. Musa’s personal 4-0 made it +18 and the quarter ended at 67-51.
Rodriguez made it 72-53 at the start of the fourth quarter. Alba responded with a 4-0 run for -15 and the difference ranged between +15 and +18 in that span. A 5-0 run by the “albatross” reduced it to 80-68, but a 10-0 run brought it to 94-70 with offensive polyphony for the “merenches”, with the substitutes having entered the floor and the match ending at 99 -75 for Real’s 9-0 record.
