Unscathed in Turin, Inter kept Juventus at a distance!

by

Inter are comfortable in Turin and remain alone at the top! Simone Inzaghi’s side were the ones looking for victory in the ‘Derby d’Italia’, but they didn’t get it and were held to a 1-1 draw with Juventus at the ‘Alianz Stadium’.

The Nerazzurri remain at the top and at +2, who were better but were trapped by the defensive tactics of the Bianconeri, who in the second half played in half the field to keep the draw.

In purely competitive terms, the match had an excellent pace from the start. THE Juventus threatened at 38 seconds with Rabiot and Inter answered Tiram’s…caps. The nerves were not lacking, there were markings but Guida did not whistle often and allowed for a rhythm. That’s how Chiesa’s chance came in the 15th minute, but the Italian forward didn’t find the target, as did Lautaro’s header three minutes later that was blocked by Sezni. Two minutes later, Tsalhanoglou’s shot from 30 meters went past the “C” of the goal!

The goal seemed a matter of time to come and finally they did… two, in the space of a few minutes! With Juventus opening the scoring in the 27th minute thanks to Chiesa’s fine solo and turn, with Vlahovic to execute a right-footed cross to Sommer for 1-0 in… panzurlis at the “Alianz Stadium”. However, six minutes later Inter hit back, with a brilliant development that started from Sommer and ended with Tiram making the parallel pass, with Lautaro to make an excellent finish for 1-1 and the stands to… fall silent.

Unlike the first part, however, the second had a completely different image. Inter were in full control, with Juventus playing in half the pitch. Simone Inzaghi’s team couldn’t find the lanes against Max Allegri’s compact team. The tempo was lower and the duels more, while the nerves increased after Cuadrado entered the grass, who returned to the “Alianz Stadium” as an opponent for the first time and everyone welcomed him as a “traitor”.

It didn’t take long for the Colombian to throw the first kick, at his former teammate Kostic, to raise the tone even more, with the Serb retaliating a few minutes later. The minutes passed, the game was bad and finally ended without any major phase, with the two teams taking one point each and the situation in the standings remaining basically unchanged, wow Inter continues first and at +2.
