The International Golfball Tournament “Volcano 2023”, held at the Stavroupolis Indoor Gymnasium, ended today (Sunday, 26/11) with the victory of the men’s National Goalball team. He defeated the Dutch Hercules 14-8 in the final. The organizing team of Hephaestus finished in 3rd place as they beat the other Dutch team of the tournament, Waalvik, 10-7 in the “small” final.
The composition of the national team
Before participating in the European championship, the men’s national team, which won 1st place in the tournament, competed with: Grigori Tatsis, Adriano Beziani, (A.S. AmaA Keraynos), Ioannis Skourbutis, Sokratis Dingolis, Theoharis Marinelis ( A.S. AmeA Ionas), Thanasis Hatzipantou (A.S. AmeA Klio).
In the Closed Stavroupoli, EAOM-AmA was represented by the 2nd vice-president Stefanos Fassias and the member of the Board of Directors. and rector of the national teams Konstantinos Siachos.
On the sidelines of the tournament, a presentation seminar on the new refereeing regulations was held, with IBSA senior course conductor Dina Mardi as speaker, who was honored by the organizers.
