On Wednesday night (29/11, 19:45) h Galatasaray will welcome at “RAMS Park” the Manchester United for the 5th matchday of the Champions League group stage, in a crucial match regarding the European future of the two teams.
Two hours before the first half of the match, things in Istanbul do not look good, since, since the morning, the wider area has been hit by strong storms. This resulted in the pitch of the stadium to… turn into mud, with the terrain resembling a tragic situation.
In fact, as you can see in the videos below, the organizers tested the pitch and whether the ball can slip or to do “gel”but without much success.
At the moment there is no update on the postponement of the match, with the people of the stadium fighting to remove the water from the grass to improve the condition of the pitch.
