In the mind of the coaches

The match:

The first five minutes of the match were particularly tough with both teams trying to outline one the other’s game and the host Panaitoliko to have possession.

The first good moment came from the side of the team of Yannis Petrakis, with Duarte to make the climb from the right and pass to Daysthe Argentine controlled, brought it to the right, launched the shot but o Anagnostopoulos impressively cleared for a corner.

The home team kept possession of the ball and with efforts mainly from the right wing, were attempting to threaten Anagnostopoulos’ residence. In one of them, Fred Duarte, made the attack filled the area, the ball went past Joao Pedro and reached the Hatzitheodoridisbut the Greek halfback’s shot ended up in the arms of the Kifissia keeper.

The first final from the team of Giannis Anastasiou, came halfway through the first half, when o Bifuma took the ball from the left, troubled Liavas, turned parallel where the ball reached Pritsa, whose shot was weak and ended up in his hands Tobacco.

A few seconds later Panaitolikos’ “answer” followed, with his greatest moment in the match. Duarte again turned from the right, o João Pedro put in the projection, with Anagnostopoulos making an instinctive save, while as the phase progressed, Chatzitheodoridis was unable to push the ball into the net, winning a corner.

In the 34′ Yannis Anastasiou was forced to make his first change, as o Peioshe felt discomfort in his ankle, with Antounes passing on to the pitch.

With the pace having dropped significantly in Agrinio and with both teams ready to go to the locker room without a score, came the phase that changed the flow of the match. Peres persevered and stole the ball from Pritsa, passed to Huanpi, who impressively dribbled through two players, was brought down by Landr and won a penalty.

After two and a half minutes, due to the guests’ protests, o João Pedro, executed aptly and put Panaitolikos in front of the score before the break with a score 1-0.

The second half started with Yannis Anastasiou making another change, replacing Pritsa with Iliev, in order for his team to have more creation.

However, the team that threatened first was his Panaitoliko in the 51st minute. Liavas overlapped and crossed at the far post, with Torrejon getting a stunning shot on the move but sending the ball wide.

The hosts pressed and kept their lines high, resulting in a second goal ten minutes later. Mladen found Hatzitheodoridis, he crossed the defense of the home team kicked out, but in the development of the phase, from new crosses, this time from Torrejon, Duarte “punched” a hole in the heart of the Kifissia defense and made it 2-0 with a header .

With this score and with Yannis Anastasiou having shuffled the deck, Ozegovic missed a great opportunity to put Kifissia in the match. Beautiful energy from the Serb from the left and a shot with Kapino making an impressive save for a corner.

What Ozegovic did not do for Kifissia, Bruno Duarte did for Panaitolikos. Execution of a foul by Juanpi, with the Argentinian defender initially being beaten by Anagnostopoulos, but in the development of the phase he took the “rebound” and with a spot-kick made it 3-0, giving dimensions of triumph to the home team’s victory.

Despite the fact that the result had been decided, the two teams did not slow down with Ozegovic missing yet another opportunity for Kifissia when, from a foul by Iliev, the Serb missed with a header, with the match coming to an end shortly after and Panaitolikos celebrating his second victory in the championship.

MVP: THE Huanpi he was a real “maestro” for Panaitolikos. The Spaniard proved his quality by winning a penalty after an incredible effort, took the free-kick for the third goal and in general distributed the game to all lengths and backs of the field, leaving Yannis Petrakis white-faced.

the “whistle”: The appearance of Koumbarakis is serious and even. The Greek referee, correctly indicated the penalty in the first half in favor of the home team, made the right choices on the cards and made the right judgment when Bruno Duarte caught his head in the 85th minute, taking him out.
