Far from Leipzig expected to be his future Timo Werner, with the German striker not having the best days of his career.
According to German reports, the former Chelsea forward recently met with the club’s sporting director, with both sides agreeing that it would be best for both of them if the experienced ace is loaned out to another club with form of borrowing in the January transfer window.
This season, the 27-year-old international is not getting the time he wants in the “bulls”, counting 13 minutes innings in all competitions with the Leipzig jersey, having also scored two goals.
As highlighted by “Sport Bild”, perhaps Werner will spend the second half of the season in one of its smaller teams Bundesligaso that he has a leading role with the aim of course to win his place in the German national team ahead of Euro 2024.
?? Timo Werner has been told by RB Leipzig that he can leave the club on loan in January, but neither Manchester United nor Real Madrid are likely to sign the striker.
