by

THE Ruben Neves moved to Saudi Arabia last summer, leaving Wolves and the Premier League at the age of 26 to join the Al Hilal.

In his statements, the Portuguese midfielder admitted that money was one of the main reasons that led him to this decision, but at the same time emphasized that there is also an extremely interesting project underway in Saudi Arabia, while making it clear that he will not return to the Premier League , at least in the near future.

“Obviously, one of the reasons I came to Saudi Arabia was the money. I can’t hide it. However, there is also a very interesting project here. Many people think that we say this just to say it, but it is not true. This is a very big project. People have no idea how fast the country’s football is improving and what it might be like in a few years. I believe in three or four years, we will be talking about a fantastic championship”he initially reported, then went on to comment on rumors that want him to return to the Premier League for Newcastle, saying:

“These are just rumours, coming out because the owners of Newcastle are from Saudi Arabia and because I was playing in England until a while ago. Me and my family are happy to be here”.
