The ferocious Panathinaikos got rid of Foinikas and awaits Monza in Metz!

Enjoyable, comfortable and… fierce before Monza, Panathinaikos! The “greens” turned her match into a healthy walk 7th matchday against the Finika Syroswhom they defeated 3-0 set in Metz and now they turn their attention to the great match with the top quality Italians Wednesday (13/12) in order to get the upper hand for the qualification to “8” of the Challenge Cup!

The team of Dimitris Andreopoulos had no difficulty in the match, with the Greek coach rotating from the end of the second set onwards.

In the first piece of the match, Panathinaikos fully imposed its pace, quickly taking a significant lead (10-6) which it then expanded to 21-12 and conquered with 25-14.

Similar tempo in the second set with the home team going up 11-6 and with some great work in defense and blocking they went to +9 (21-12)with their coach making changes that paid off in doing so 25-19.

No reaction to the third set from Foinikas who seemed surrendered to the appetites of the Panathinaikos players. The score escaped comfortably again with the “clover” initially making it 17-10, the “pirates” gnawing away the distance (20-17) and the match ending at 25-21 for a comfortable 3-0.
