FIBA introduces a new model for evaluating countries at a young age. In terms of boys, Greece is in 20th place and girls in 24th place in the World Ranking.
In the boys, the USA holds the first place with 828.7 points, Spain is in the second with 685.9 points and in the third France with 679.3 points. The basic principle of the new Youth rating system is the same as the Men’s system, which was introduced before the start of the Basketball World Cup Qualifiers in November 2017. According to the new system, in the girls, FIBA world ranking, which presented by Nike, the USA, champions of the most recent U19 and U17 Women’s World Cups maintain their first place with 817.9 points. Australia is second with 684.7 points, France third with 666.2 points, China fourth with 641.9 points and Spain in fifth with 627.2 points.
