Doncic’s terrible performance was not enough for Mavericks who lost to Nuggets

Nikola Jokic’s Nuggets won the Balkan duel in Denverbeating the terrible Luka Doncic’s Mavericks 130-104.

The Slovenian superstar made a sensational appearance, “touching” the triple-double with 38 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. The only Mavs player in double figures was Dante Exum who had 11 points.

Los Angeles had three players score 90 points, as James Harden finished with 35 points (3 rebounds and 9 assists), Kawhi Leonard had 28 points and Paul George scored 27 points (3 rebounds and 4 assists). For the finalists of the in-season tournament, only Ben Mathurin stood out with 34 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

Another derby took place in Cleveland, with the match going to overtime (122-122 in regular time), and the Cavaliers prevailing in the extra five minutes 135-130 over the Rockets. Leading the way for the winners was Donovan Mitchell with 37 points and 6 assists and Fred Vanvleet had 27 points, 8 rebounds and 17 assists for Houston.

The turnaround in the second half the Timberwolves did in Miami, who won (108-112) against the Heat. Anthony Edwards stood out for Minnesota, having 32 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. “First violin” for the losers was Tyler Hiro with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
