Triumphant in the doubleheader derby for its 11th matchday Women’s Volleyball League The PAOK!

Putting on their best performance of the year, the “black and white” prevailed and celebrated the great victory with 3-0 sets (25-17, 25-23, 25-20) on her AEK in Palataki, rising to 6th place in the standings. On the other hand, the Union showed again that they are not in good shape, knowing the third defeat in their last four games.

The two teams went hand in hand on the score at the start of the match until 7-7, before AEK took a 12-10 lead and PAOK responded, going ahead 17-15. Dominant, the hosts then made a long run, reaching a comfortable, as it turned out, 1-0 (25-17).

With an elevated mentality, PAOK entered the second set furiously (8-2), while AEK improved, managing to reduce to 12-10, 16-14 and 17-15. But in the “final stretch” it was again the PAOK team that was cooler, making it 2-0 with 25-23.

In the third set, AEK led 5-3 and 9-5, but then stalled again, allowing their opponents to take an 11-10 lead and never look back, making the final 3-0 (25-20 ).
