Jovanovic’s “goodbye”: “Take the championship this year and I will be more happy than anyone”

Farewell to the football players of Panathinaikos o Ivan Jovanovichwith Nikos Athanasiou broadcasting his speech on bwinSPORT FM.

The Serbian coach was in Koropi for his “farewell” to his former players, telling them among other things to win the championship this year and he will enjoy it more than anyone.

At the same time, Mr Jovanovic he emphasized to his players that they helped him improve as a person and a coach, while he asked them to help the new coach.

“As you know we will not continue together. Thank you very much for everything. You have made me a better person and a better coach, you are my team. Together we achieved a lot. The first year we won the Cup, the second we came a breath away from the championship, this year we returned to Europe. We could have won the championship last year.

I hope you win the championship this year and know that I will enjoy it more than anyone. I want to ask you something. As well as we worked together, your cooperation with the new coach will be just as good. Help him with all your might because what matters is that Panathinaikos achieves its goals”the Serbian coach said, among other things.

From the players’ side, Bart Schenkefeld took the floor and thanked Ivan Jovanovic on behalf of the team for his offer, but also for the cooperation they had during these 2.5 years.
