“Christmas should be days of peace, contemplation and deep love. However, seeing reports about the alleged rejection of proposals for the bench of our team, we are forced to clarify some things.
When a team is in the process of searching for a coach, as is logical, the proposals that will come to the offices with prospective coaches will be enough. Especially, if the team has the dynamics and history of PAS Ioannina, it is obvious that the names that will be proposed will be from the ‘top shelf’. In fact, in our team special and important names of technicians were proposed, technicians who have made championship runs and won titles.
PAS Ioannina, guided by its interest, decided to agree with Michalis Grigoriou, a coach with a particularly important career who has important things to show and at the same time is knowledgeable about the Greek reality, who can get the team out of the difficult position in which is located.
We are well aware that the situation is not ideal and for this reason any changes are made for the good of the team. For this reason, we wish to put our differences aside and all of us united to restore PAS Ioannina where it belongs.
