“Hammer” Mavropanos in Arsenal and Liverpool alone first!

by

“Hammers” on Arsenal’s head West Ham and Dinos Mavropanos! With the Greek stopper na it hurts his former club, scoring his first goal in England – without celebrating – his total David Moges passed with triumph 2-0 from the Emirates and left after 19 matches in the Premier League Liverpool alone first in the rating!

An incredible evening if nothing else for our 26-year-old international David Moges and West Ham, who celebrated huge win against the compatriot, having, literally, two phases, two goals and a missed penalty in the final! It is characteristic that Arsenal reached possession of the ball, in the first half, at 75%, but he couldn’t find the net at all and “managed”, finally, to go into the break back on the scoreboard. In the second half and while he was pushing unbearably for the equalizer, Mavropanos came and made up!

Things went wrong for the “gunners” early on, as in the 13th minute o Thomas Suchek, in a very strange phase, opened the scoring. The home team shouted that at the start of the phase the ball had gone out, but the VAR he examined the phase, and although there was never a clear shot, he counted the goal.

In the 34th minute, a header from Saka was “taken out” with difficulty by Areola, while in the 41st minute the same player had awesome beam from the closed corner! Martinelli’s attempt just before the end was also wrong. In the second 45 minutes, as we mentioned above, Arsenal came out with a knife in his teeth for 1-1 and West Ham with a clear goal to play full defense and keep the result.

At 52′, o Declan Rice he almost scored a goal for his former club, too, but the ball ended up narrowly wide for the absolute shock for Arteta’s team in the 55th minute, when Mavropanos was advanced for a corner and with a header, he made it 2-0 out of nowhere! Arsenal then pressed even harder, missing one chance after another, but again they were in danger of conceding a goal, with Benrahma missing a penalty in the final to make it 3-0! In the end, 2-0 for West Ham stayed until the final whistle, Arsenal were beaten for the first time this year at home and… Liverpool are first!

In the other match, earlier, Brighton were stormy against Tottenham and with the impressive 4-2 returned to European orbit, with his team Angelos Postecoglou to be far behind in the title battle.

Jack Hinselwood opened the scoring in the 11th minute from Joao Pedro’s pass, with the Brazilian slotting home from the penalty spot shortly after. In the second half, his players Roberto de Gerbi they remained aggressive and found two more goals, first with fantastic shot by Estupinian and then with another penalty by Pedro. Alejo Velis and Ben Davies pulled back in the end, but Tottenham failed to get anything out of this match.
