Manzios: “Let’s get a reaction and ego with PAOK”

Akis Manzios expressed his opinion on tomorrow’s match against PAOK. The coach of Aris, speaking to Nova, said that his team should show reaction and ego, stressing that always in these games the yellow ones appear in good condition.

About the game that “went wrong” with Asteras Tripoli:

“It was a game that started differently and ended negatively for our team. A game, which we lost by ourselves… It is the second game in a row, in which we did not win through our own fault. It worries us and we don’t like that. We talked to the players, let them understand the mistakes that were made. Mistakes are always made in football, but as far as we are concerned, they have to do with our mentality. What I think is that we rested somewhere with the 2-0 in our favor. When he came back after the game, we didn’t have the reaction we needed to have to be able to come back, scoring-wise. They are games that hurt us in the way that we dropped points. When you’re in a big group, you don’t deserve to have that kind of reaction. This is unfair to all of us. “PAOK is currently first in the standings. They are a very good team. He plays good football, he has excellent players. An ARIS-PAOK derby, however, is something different. This game is in a class of its own. It doesn’t matter what state each team is in. It is purely a matter of the day and how much each of the two opponents wants the victory. I think our team will be very different in this game! We have shown in derbies that we are very different from other games in terms of our mentality. We have to remove ego and reaction against PAOK”.
