Vrakas is officially in Atromitos – “Why not in the playoffs?”

In his first transfer for the period of January 2024, Atromitos proceeded.

It’s about him Giorgos Vrakas, who was acquired by PAOKwhich retains a resale percentage.

First transfer for our squad for 2024 and January period.

PAE Atromitos announces the acquisition of Giorgos Vrakas from PAOK on a transfer, with the Thessaloniki club retaining a resale percentage, while the player has signed a contract until the summer of 2026.

Giorgos Vrakas is 22 years old (28/4/2001) and can compete with equal ease in all positions behind the striker, while he is international with all the small national teams.

He took his first football steps in AO Ioannina, the city where he comes from and grew up. In 2014, PAOK included him in its Academies network and thanks to his performances in 2017 at the age of just 16, he made his professional debut and in fact as a starter in a Cup match against Aeginaikos. He became the second youngest player to wear the PAOK shirt.

In the summer of 2018, he was acquired by Napoli to play in the second team of the Italians, having 20 appearances and three goals. In 2020, PAOK brought him back to Thessaloniki. In 2021/22 and 2022/23 he was granted to Levadeiakos in the form of a loan, having a total of 63 appearances and six goals and was even named the most valuable player of Voiotes for the 2022/23 season.

The new transfer acquisition of our team who will wear the shirt with the number “29”, after the conclusion of the agreement, made his first statements on atromitosfc.gr:

I’m really happy to join a great team, it recently turned 100 years old, and now I want to give 100% to help the team achieve its goals.

We all see that in the last months the team is performing very well, it is performing very well and if we continue like this, why not find ourselves at the end of the regular season in positions for the playoffs.

On a personal level, I want to work on a daily basis to improve myself individually and of course through this work to help Atromitos as well. I managed these few hours to see the training center and it really offers everything to an athlete to perform at 100% of his potential.
