Maccabi owner: Sees Olympiakos and Panathinaikos AKTOR in Euroleague Final 4

In an interview given to the Serbian press, one of the owners of the “people’s team”, Udi Recanati and its historical president, Shimon Mizrahiboth believe that Olympiacos and Panathinaikos AKTOR they have the possibility to qualify for Berlin.

“First of all, I would like to thank the people of Serbia for making us feel like our second home here. We are having a very difficult time with everything that is happening in Israel. We played the first Euroleague match at home and won, but then the war broke out and we had to find solutions. First, we decided that the team should move to Cyprus until we find a permanent home. And then, Mr. Mizrahi talked to different countries and realized that Serbia would be the best place for us and that Belgrade would be our home for the next few months.“, Udi Recanati initially told “Telegraf”.

Regarding whether the “people’s team” can qualify for the EuroLeague Final Four: “As Mizrahi has said, we have to go game by game. It’s hard to say. There is no doubt that Real Madrid will be one of the teams to go to the Final 4. Also, although we beat them recently, Virtus Bologna is also a good team this year.
