End of an era in Athens Kallithea FCas after 3.5 years o Anthony Mounier is past.

In particular, the French attacking midfielder who has worn his jersey among other things Panathinaikos, Panaitolikos and Apollo Smyrnaterminated his contract with the Athenian team by mutual consent.

“Athens Kallithea FC and French striker Anthony Mounier have agreed to the mutual consent of their contract. Mounier, 36, signed in September 2021 at the start of a new era for the club, and led the club to a second-place finish in the 2021/22 season with 17 goals in 30 appearances. After struggling with injuries, Mounier made seven appearances with one goal last season, and one this season. Mounier enriched the team with his invaluable top-flight experience, having played in Ligue 1 (Lyon, Nice, Montpellier), Serie A (Bologna, Atalanta), and Super League 1 (Panathinaikos, Panaitolikos, Apollon Smyrnis) before to sign for AKFC,” the team said.
