Back-to-back transfer announcements by Olympic! A few minutes after the formalization of the deal with Tsiquinios, the “red and whites” announced the agreement with Andre Horta.

The Portuguese midfielder comes on loan to Olympiakos from Braga, while there is also a purchase clause for him in the summer from Piraeus.

THE Orta had collaborated for two years with him Carlos Carvalhal in Braga, being a suggestion of the Portuguese technician.

PAE Olympiacos announces the acquisition of the Portuguese midfielder, Andre Filipe da Luz Horta, who was born on November 7, 1996, in the city of Almada.

After spending eight years in Benfica’s academy, at the age of 15 he joined Vitoria and a few months later made his debut with the first team in the Primeira Liga. In July 2016, having made 42 appearances with two goals and three assists for Vitoria, he was transferred to Benfica, with whom he made 16 appearances.

In the summer of 2017 he was loaned to Braga and in March 2018 he was acquired by Los Angeles, finishing the 2017-2018 season with 42 games, one goal and seven assists.

In June 2019, he returned to Portugal on behalf of Braga, who bought him from the MLS side. Horta played a total of 222 games with Braga, scoring ten goals and providing 28 assists. This year he has made 25 appearances, with two goals and two assists.

He has played in 47 Champions League and Europa League games, and is an international with the Portugal national team at U18, U19, U20 and U21 levels. He has won, among others, the Championship and the Cup with Benfica, the Cup and the League Cup with Braga.
