His replacement Jamel Belmandi the Algerian national team is looking for from Tuesday night (23/1), then the exclusion from the continuation of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The 55-year-old technician is currently the head of the technical leadership of the French women’s national team since last March, while from 2019 to 2023, he took over the reins of the Saudi Arabian national team, leading them to the World Cup in Qatar.
Details of the negotiations have not come to light, however, Renard is the only name higher up the list.
We remind you that Renard, among others, has coached the national team of Zambia, as well as those of Ivory Coast, Morocco, Angola and Ghana, while at an inter-club level he has sat on the bench of USM Alger, Sosot and Lille.
