With the Cretan team moving forward with the signing of Boris Kleiman today (25/01), agreeing with PAS Ioannina for the Israeli goalkeeper’s six-month loan.

“PAE CHANIA is pleased to announce the acquisition of Israeli goalkeeper Boris Kleiman on loan from PAE PAS YANNINA until the end of the current season.
Boris was born on October 26, 1990 in Vinnytsia, then Soviet Union, in what is now Ukraine. Before he was even a year old, his family immigrated to Israel. He started playing football first at the Hapoel Tel Aviv Academy and then at that of Hapoel Kfar Saba, to whose first team he was promoted at the age of 18. In 2009, Hapoel Tel Aviv acquired him and loaned him first to Maccabi Herzliya (2009-10) and then to Hapoel Kfar Saba (2010-11). He followed a three-year stint in Hapoel Tel Aviv (25 games), from which in the summer of 2014 he transferred to Beitar Jerusalem (164 games), where he played for four years.
In July 2018, he moved to Cyprus on behalf of the Paralimni Youth Union (49 matches), while two years later he came to Greece for the first time, in order to join the roster of Volos (72 matches). He left the Magnesia team last summer for PAS Ioannina (20 games), whose goal he defended until last Saturday.
A member of the ranks of the National Teams of Israel U18, U19, U21, he was named international with Andron in March 2016.
