Speaking to the NOVA camera, Mr Nigel Williams-Goss he spoke of the team’s character despite the problems, while he praised Moses Wright, who made a stunning debut.
In detail what he said to the “NOVA” camera:
On what changed in the second half: “We raised our intensity in defense, it was a match reminiscent of the one in Berlin. We improved defensively and we succeeded.”
For Moses Wright’s debut: “He proved to be amazing. He had the people on his side. We are excited to have him, we believe he will help us a lot.”
For absences in position “5”: “We played without three centers, it’s … crazy. But, we adapted. I’m happy with how we reacted against the zone and that we won.”
For the many minutes that Ignas Brazdeikis played against PAOK and Alba Berlin: “The more minutes you get, the better you feel. I hope it will continue like this.”
On the “winning spirit” of Olympiakos: “I’ve been saying all year that the character of the team is great, as is our chemistry. We will not let the defeats affect us and “drop” us. We have to continue this way.”
