The Patrinos tightened even more in defense and with Reynolds “hot” outside the 6.75m. they went ahead (29-30), at 15′. The answer of the Piraeus came from Petrusev for +3 (34-31), with the offensive rebounds and Reynolds and Etsenike giving the team of Achaia the lead again (35-36), at 19′. However, in the last minute the players of Bartzokas took out the defenses and with Larentzakis and Petrusev they closed the first half with a 5-0 run and at +4 (40-36).

With Etsenike in front, Prometheus tied the match (42-42) in the first two minutes of the second half. Then, Olympiacos turned up the heat, mainly in defense and running the open field with the “hot” Kanan, made individual scores of 16-2, for +13 (58-45), in the 25th minute. Thus, the “red and whites” took control of the match and with Peters also entering the… equation, the difference slipped to +18 (68-50), in the 28th minute. In the final two minutes, Cowan returned to the floor for the Patriots, who were only slightly down (70-55) at the end of the third period.

The match was freer and at a faster pace in the first minutes of the fourth period, with Olympiakos steadily maintaining its distance (83-66), until the 34th minute. Then, the “red and white” relaxed, making many mistakes, with the Patrinos reducing to 85-75, in the 38th minute. In the final minutes, the players of Barzoka managed more correctly and took the victory with the final 91-77.
