The recent 2-0 Nottingham Forest against West Ham was crucial for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in their bid to stay in the Premier League but perhaps most enjoyed by Vera Hill.
THE 92 years old Forest fan back at the City Ground after twelve yearsas due to a health problem she has only her peripheral vision left.
However, her daughter took her to the pitch due to the elderly woman’s desire to hear the Nottingham fans sing the team anthem before the cross again.
The pictures of the emotional Vera went viral, but the surprises for her didn’t stop there. A few days later you see, she got a call on the phone from her favorite football player, Stuart Pearce!
The Forest legend, who wore her shirt from 1985 to 1997, chatted to the elderly woman for a few minutes and asked her to meet at the next home game she attends, with the 92-year-old unable to believe that the other edge of the line was the veteran defender.
More than a sport…
