Poland slipped out of North Macedonia, Estonia doubled their wins with a triumph over Lithuania

The second matchday has ended eighth group of the EuroBasket 2025 qualifiers, with Poland and Estonia celebrating big wins against Poland and Lithuania respectively!

After her defeat in the premiere against Lithuania, the Poland was presented below the occasion and in its home match with North Macedoniaknowing the heavy defeat with 96-71 and falling to 0-2. Top scorer for the hosts was the PAOK guard, Michal Michalakwho finished the match with 20 points and 9 rebounds, while the center of Panathinaikos moved in… shallow waters, Oleg Balcherovsky, who had 7 points and 3 rebounds in 20 minutes of action. On the other hand, for the winners, the leaders were Dimitrievich (32pts, 8 rebounds, 8 assists), Hap (19p, 9 rib) and Gyuroski (17p).

An unexpected defeat was experienced by Lithuaniawith 65-59 at its headquarters of Estonia, which made it 2/2, after its victory over North Macedonia in the premiere! The home team built a double-digit lead in the second period of the match and although they saw the Lithuanians take the lead in the third quarter, they were more composed in the final stretch, taking the important victory.

Leading for the winners were Gesaar (18p, 6 rib), Come on (13Ï€) and Rooster (11p, 13 rib), while for Lithuania they stood out Ulanovas (16Ï€) and Dimsa (14p).
