Today (05/03) the draw for the Women’s National Team in the Nations League took place, with the blue and white team having to face Montenegro, Andorra and the Faroe Islands.
The team coach, Alexis Katikaridiscommented on the draw, described it as good and mentioned the goal which is none other than a position leading to the play-offs.
“We will find on our way three teams with different philosophies and ways of playing and we must, with all due respect to the opponents, adapt and respond successfully to the data and the special conditions of each match.
According to our latest performances and having shown that we have improved in all areas, we should now, in addition to the good image we present, collect at the end of the games what we really deserve, that is, the good image should be accompanied by the corresponding result, as in our last match against the Turkish team.
The draw is generally good, I repeat that we respect and consider all opponents, but the goal would be the same regardless of the teams we would find on our way and it would be nothing more than a place leading to the play-offs to qualify for the ultimately of the EURO”.
