Ten Haag: “We have a bright future, no team can deal with so many injuries”!

by

Manchester United host Everton (09/03), in the wake of a 3-1 defeat by Manchester City.

The coach of the team, Erik Ten Haag is in a difficult position and his role is judged every day. The Dutchman himself believes that the future of the club is expected to be bright and that injuries to important players are responsible for the results.

“We are in the right direction. Imagine what would happen if we had more footballers available and not setbacks and injuries. We could easily have reached 75 wins and that shows the bright future of this team. There is a good balance in ages. No team can deal with so many injuries.

I think we played at the maximum level, if you take into account the availability of players. We were missing a number of key players during the season. I will never complain about it, we have to get the best possible result. This is our goal. It doesn’t matter the opponent, we’re going for the win”the Dutch coach said and went on to say:

“Mason Mount is in a good season and will be back soon, I believe after the national team break. For next week, some players will be back. I expect Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to be available for the Liverpool game. Also Hoylund”.
