Details of the attack received by the bus that transported the Anorthosis mission were made known by the Cypriot Police with a relevant announcement issued.
It states that there was no injury to a player or other person riding in the vehicle and it is known that an investigation is underway to find more information about the attack.

“Last night, the bus carrying the mission of the Anorthosis football team was attacked with stones, on its return to Larnaca, after the end of the football match with APOEL, which was held at the GSP Stadium.
According to the examined data, around 8.35 in the evening, while the bus of the team’s mission, moving on the Nicosia – Larnaca highway, at the height of Pera Chorio, was attacked with stones and other objects, by unknown persons.
The attack damaged the front windshield, the side windows, as well as the entire left side of the bus.
The bus stopped for a few minutes and then continued on its way and disembarked safely in Larnaca.
In the area where the unknown persons acted, a strong police force was sent by motorized patrols, where they conducted on-site examinations, to locate the perpetrators, without, however, revealing anything.
The attack did not result in any injuries.
