During the final of the Women’s Handball Cup between PAOK and OFNI, the OHE awarded three artists who have a direct connection with Greek handball, Yiannis Aivazis, Dimos Anastasiadis and Irini Papadopoulou.
Yannis Aivazis started from Nea Ionia in 1993 and then went through nine other teams until GAS Kamaterou, where he is currently playing.
Dimos Anastasiadis played handball in his hometown, Katerini, and in the historic Archelaos from 1996 to 2003 as a left winger.
Irini Papadopoulou played as a left winger for Spartakos Acharnon and GS Koropiou for 13 years. In fact, he also participated in beach handball matches.
The awards were made by the President of OHE, Kostas Gandis, the General Secretary, Kostas Stamatiadis, and the member of the Board of Directors, Tasos Heividopoulos.
