Brentford “looks” at Baba!

THE Baba Rahman is having a very good season in PAOK, with Bradford to have set him in the eye, according to “West London News”.

The Ghanaian left-back has also played in the past Chelsea and Reading and he has performances from English football and this is how the “bees” look at him for the summer transfer period.

“Brentford have sent scouts to watch Baba Rahman, who is having an excellent season with PAOK, wanting to secure his signature for €5,800,000. The Bees are without key left-back Rico Henry, who is set to miss the entire season and the start of next season. They could only secure a loan extension with Tottenham for Sergio Reguilon, with the Spanish defender expected to return to Tottenham in the summer.

The lack of competition at full-backs has hurt Brentford and they have now spotted former Chelsea left-back Bamba, who has excelled in both Europe and Greece as a starter. Rahman returned to PAOK on a free transfer after leaving Chelsea, but a return to the Premier League could be on the horizon for him again.

Brentford are fighting for Premier League survival but Thomas Frank has always pulled rabbits out of his hat and his interest in the Ghanaian defender could be his big plan to strengthen his squad. Baba Rahman has found his form again after joining Greek giants PAOK last summer. He helped the team to their best campaign in Europe. The 29-year-old turned down the chance to sign for Norwich and Watford in the summer and opted for Greece instead. This decision breathed new life into his career.”reports the publication.

This year in 34 appearances it counts 5 goals and 3 assists with his jersey PAOK and has a contract until 2026.
