Stoiximan Super League: Battles for the top in Avenue and New Philadelphia

PANATHINAIKOS – PAOK


In the last five home matches against Panathinaikos for all competitions, there is no victory for the Greens. Their three meetings are for the championship and the two for the Greek Cup. There are three draws and two victories of PAOK, with the last one on February 21, 2024 for the Greek Cup, where of course Panathinaikos then qualified for the final in the penalty shootout.

Panathinaikos’ last home win for the league was on April 3, 2022 for the Super League Playoffs process.

In their last eight games independent of home and organization, there was only one victory for the home team and that was in the Second Round of this year’s championship with PAOK’s 2-1 home victory.

Out of a total of 76 matches in their history with Panathinaikos at home, only eight were goalless and ended 0-0, while their most productive days are with 7 goals, in the 5-2 of the 2000-01 season and the 4- 3 of 2014-15. PAOK’s biggest away win against Panathinaikos is 3-0 in 2022-23.

AEK – OLYMPIACOS


In the last eight games between the two teams for the championship there was no home victory. AEK has managed to win in its last two visits to the home of Olympiakos, but in a home match its last victory was on September 24, 2017 with 3-2.

Since then, there have been ten matches with the Kitrinomavroui as home team, where there have been five draws and five wins for Olympiakos. The seven were in OAKA and the last three in New Philadelphia, with two consecutive draws in their last matches there, with 0-0 and 1-1.

The most popular score between the two teams is 1-1 with eleven appearances, while in second place is 1-0 in favor of AEK with nine appearances, along with clean draws (9). The most frequent scores in Olympiakos’ victories are 1-0 and 2-1 with five appearances.

ARIS LAMIA


Aris and Lamia will meet for the seventh time with the Thessaloniki team at home and for the 13th time in total for the championship.

Aris have not managed to get a win in their last three time meetings, having two defeats in their last visits to Fthiotida and a 2-2 draw in their B’ Round home game this year.

In total, the Yellows have won three of the six times they have hosted Lamia, while the other three have ended in a draw, once with 1-1, once with 0-0 and once with 2-2.

In the last seven between them for the championship and the Greek Cup, there is no away victory, with the tally being four wins for the home team and three draws.
