Alain kept the “green” offensive, but Vitola and Spyridopoulou provided solutions to the “red and white”, which sent the difference to +9 (52-43) and closed the third period at +8 (54-46).

With Alleyne and Jones, Panathinaikos initially put the difference in the basket (56-54) at the beginning of the fourth period and then with Sotiriou it went to (60-64), in the 37th minute. Olympiacos responded with Tobin and Christinakis and with a 6-0 run, went ahead (66-64), at 1:12” before the end. With a three-pointer by Jones, the guests regained the lead, with Vitola making 2/2 shots to overtake (68-67), 39” before the end. On the next possession, Jones fouled out with Tobin also making 2/2 from the line (70-67) at 14.4”. In the last seconds, he had continuous shots, with Olympiakos winning with the final 72-69.
