by

Finally good, all good for her Maccabi. The bureaucratic problem which he did not allow to Wade Baldwin to follow his team’s mission on the flight from Tel Aviv to Belgrade was arranged. So the American guard will be available for tomorrow’s match against Baskonia for the Euroleague play-ins.

The issue that arose was about passport of Baldwin’s son and required his own presence to settle. Certainly the 28-year-old guard had no chance of leaving his son back in Israel with what has been happening in recent days with Iran. Maccabi, however, informed that everything was arranged and tonight the former Olympiakos ace will go to Belgrade and of course it will be available to Oded Katas.

The 28-year-old former Olympiakos ace does amazing season averaging 17.7 points, 4.9 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 19.5 rating.

It is noted that his participation is doubtful for Tuesday’s match John DiBartolomeo due to a shoulder problem.

Maccabi’s squad flew to Belgrade last night after two flight cancellations as the standoff with Iran led to several changes. In the end, Mr Odent Katas he trained his players at Maccabi’s headquarters and not in Belgrade, as originally planned.

Maccabi with a win on Tuesday will face Panathinaikos in the playoffs, while if they lose, then on Friday they will welcome the winner of Efes-Virtus Bologna to Belgrade, claiming the last ticket of the playoffs that leads to a match with Real.
